I live in the country three miles from the nearest town, so we have a roadside mailbox. My routine is get the mail upon my return home each day. I turn into our driveway to get off of the main road, stop the car, put it in park, and walk to the mailbox while leaving the door open.

One day I did this as usual, but before I could get back to the car, it began to roll forward. I ran to catch it, but as the wheels were still turned to the right from my turning into the driveway, the car began to roll down the slight downward grade of our property.

I did manage to catch up with it, grabbed the door and pulled on the door thinking, like Samsom I guess, I could stop the car. But the car kept going. It rolled through a small ditch that goes across our property and then began to pick up speed.

Soon I was running just behind the car and knew I could not catch it. My neighbor's fence and tree line was coming into line quickly. Suddenly I yelled, "Jesus!"

IMMEDIATELY, I was beside the open door. Just as quickly, the thought came strongly into my mind: "You're going to have to jump in." And before I could think about, HOW? I was inside the car and able to bring it to a stop.

There is no way I could have caught up to that car on my own. I know that angels helped me, as "Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?" (Hebrews 1:14)
