OFFICIAL RULES AND INFORMATION
Because our monthly giveaway is determined by random drawing for qualified entrants (those who submit a story*), it is legally defined as a sweepstakes. That means we must spell out in detail what is, and isn't, entailed. Here goes:

NO PURCHASE OR FEE NECESSARY TO ENTER, WIN OR RECEIVE YOUR FREE MUG.
You will be automatically entered into our monthly drawing for Writer of the Month when you submit a qualifying story to WWW.TOUCHEDBYTHEHANDOFGOD.COM, unless you request otherwise at the time of submission. Each Writer of the Month will receive a sturdy Touched by the Hand of God mug like those available in our Shop.
PROMOTION SUMMARY
Each month, one person who has submitted a qualifying story to TOUCHEDBYTHEHANDOFGOD.COM will be chosen by random drawing to receive a free item of branded Touched by the Hand of God merchandise. Each monthly promotional period begins at 12:01 a.m. on the 1st of each calendar month and ends at 12 midnight on the last day of that month. Your likelihood of winning the monthly prize will be determined by the number of qualifying stories are submitted that month. This promotion is sponsored and administrated by Amen, Sister! LLC, Atlanta GA, 30307 (the “The Sponsor.”).
WHAT'S IN IT FOR ME?
In addition to recognition on the Site as our Writer of the Month, one Monthly Winner will receive, at no charge to them, one Touched by the Hand of God mug, as sold at TOUCHEDBYTHEHANDOFGOD.COM. Approximate retail value is $12, exclusing shipping/handling, which will be paid by the Sponsors.
WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?
This promotion is open to all legal residents of the United States and District of Columbia, and U.S. Military personnel and their families with APO/FPO addresses, who are thirteen (13) years of age or older. Participation in this promotion constitutes entrant's full and unconditional acceptance of these Official Rules.
WHO CAN'T PARTICIPATE?
Employees of Amen, Sister, LLC, and their immediate families (parents, brothers, sisters and children), its subsidiaries, its consultants, vendors and the officers, directors, employees and agents of each are not eligible to enter or win.
HOW DO I ENTER?
Enter on-line by submitting a qualifying story via the Internet to TOUCHEDBYTHEHANDOFGOD.COM. Information found on the Share a Story page provides story submission guidelines and how to make sure your story qualifies for the drawing.
HOW OFTEN CAN I ENTER?
There is no limit to the number of stories you can submit to TOUCHEDBYTHEHANDOFGOD.COM! However, The Sponsor reserves the right to limit to three the number of monthly entries permitted for any individual who submits multiple, qualifying stories. For each new qualifying story (submitted per the guidelines at TOUCHEDBYTHEHANDOFGOD.COM), up to and including the limit of three submissions, you will be entered into the drawing. Please note that if you do submit multiple stories, they must be materially different and not simply variations upon a previously submitted story.
HOW CAN I OPT OUT?
When you submit a story to TOUCHEDBYTHEHANDOFGOD.COM, you will complete a short submission form. This form provides a place to opt out of the drawing, should you prefer. If you do not opt out, you will be automatically entered in that month’s drawing.
HOW IS A WINNER SELECTED?
The winner will be selected in a random drawing from all eligible entries received by The Sponsor, whose decisions regarding all aspects of the drawing shall be final and binding. Prizes will be mailed within thirty (30) days after a winner is selected. If a winner declines to accept a prize, does not provide a current and accurate mailing address, or, in the event that a prize or prize notification is returned as undelivered, the winner will be disqualified and The Sponsor may elect, at its own discretion, to select an alternate winner.
HOW ARE WINNERS ANNOUNCED?
Monthly winners will be notified by e-mail and/or telephone. Winners will also posted on this page within fourteen (14) days after the monthly drawing. Only the first name and initial of the last name, plus city and state of residence will be posted. By virtue of entering the promotion, you are agreeing to have this info posted on the site should you win.
CONDITIONS, NOTICES, LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY, ETC.
By entering this promotion, each entrant agrees to be bound by these Official Rules and by all decisions of The Sponsor (whose decisions are final and binding on all matters relating to the promotion, including fact, interpretation, eligibility, procedure and fulfillment), and to comply with all applicable federal, state and local laws, taxes, restrictions and regulations. In the event of non-compliance, the potential winner will be disqualified and an alternate prizewinner may be selected. Entries and other submitted materials become the property of The Sponsor.
In the event of a dispute, eligible electronic entries will be considered made by authorized account owner of the e-mail address submitted at the time of entry. The authorized account holder shall be the natural person to whom the applicable e-mail address has been assigned by the Internet access provider, service provider, or other online organization responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address.
All Internet access and usage charges are the responsibility of the entrant. If for any reason the promotion can not be run as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, worms, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes which corrupt or affect the administration, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the promotion, The Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion, to terminate, modify or suspend the promotion. All entries received on-line before the on-line portion becomes inoperable will be included in the random drawing.
The Sponsor assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction in connection with any telephone network, computer equipment, software; injury or damage to entrants; or any combination thereof related to or resulting from participation in the promotion or downloading materials from or using TOUCHEDBYTHEHANDOFGOD.COM.
Winner acknowledges that except and to the extent that The Sponsor cannot by law exempt itself from responsibility or liability, The Sponsor has neither made nor is in any manner responsible or liable for any warranty, representation, or guarantee described herein; including, but not limited to, its quality, merchantability, mechanical condition or fitness for use. All warranties are hereby disclaimed, and the winner will accept the prize "as is". Prizes cannot be assigned, transferred, exchanged or redeemed for cash.
By participating, entrants release The Sponsor, its subsidiaries, its advertising and promotion agencies and the officers, directors, employees and agents of each from any and all liability, damages or causes of action (however named or described) for injuries, damages or losses to persons and property which may be sustained in connection with receipt, enjoyment, ownership or use of the prize.
